ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In my exploration of infinity and lightness, I created this painting, which is totally innovative and can be placed on the wall or in a free space. The painting has to be inserted between two panes of glass. The chosen lines and semi-transparent areas create a play of light and shades on the wall or in the space behind it. The lines are like people, each different, each with its own character and its own interactions. The hands are a symbol of touch.

Master of Arts Milena Gregorčič was born 1952 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1976 at the at the Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She continued her studies at the same academy, specializing in graphics, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in 1978. She has had more than 75 solo exhibitions and has taken part in over 450 group exhibitions both at home and aboard. She has received 25 national and international awards and accolades. She has been a member of Slovenian Fine Artists Society since 1976. She lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
