This painting is four well used, walked, trodden maps of Cardiff taped together with ducktape and then used as a canvas. It talks of schizophrenia and confusion on one of the most diverse roads in Britain. "City Road" in Cardiff. It was once known as "Muddy Road". If you purchase this piece- WARNING- it comes folded as a map. the paper is purposefully frayed and used. fragments of mud and grit still remain. A texture that is hard to see in just a digital image.
