Live Your Life 20" x 60" charcoal on canvas [work in progress] Inspired by: T.I. and Rhianna Gratitude ~ Strength ~ Dedication The song for day 30 is one I love. It has a message of reflection & hope, a collaboration of male and female vocals and a shout out to the troops. It is a stay strong pump up song that holds an esteemed place on my playlist for those shitty days that happen every now and again. The art for day 30 is a drawing of paper airplanes on a canvas that has been primed with several layers of artist mediums to make a smooth paper like surface. Purposely the only large piece in the series. I started painting paper airplanes last summer. They are a metaphor for Journey... Moving on…Moving Up...Taking Flight...Letting go…Going places…Having fun…Visiting friends...Visiting family…New adventures…Old favorites…Staying on course…Diversions Turbulence...Crashes..Taking the past of least resistance.
