DOB: 16-04-1962Place of birth: Munster, West GermanyAlthough born in Germany, I am British - my father was serving overseas when I made my appearance into the World!I come from a large family, and love it. I'm married, and have a family of my own - which I love as much, if not more!I have always loved art and have experimented with many different styles. I love art that gets you thinking, whether abstract or realistic. Picasso, to me, is the master - he could do simply anything with such amazing skill.Today, my inspiration comes from people - not how they look on the outside, but what is on the inside. Much of my work is abstract in form - visually representing the human condition.My most recent inspiration is from the Aboriginal Dreaming artwork. I love the style of it and have experimented with this in my own way - great fun! My current ongoing project is the painting of two six foot surf boards with underwater scenes in the aboriginal 'dotty' style I adore. Unfortunately they are taking a long time as I only get down to the studio for a few hours at weekends and the occasional day in the holidays. Nevertheless, I love it!
