Alice Torres spent most of her life working in the textile industry as a surface textile designer. For most of her adult life, she has lived in the Inwood section of Manhattan. She enjoys drawing especially the living, breathing nude model. Alice has shown her artwork at the Student Concours exhibition in the Phyllis Harriman Gallery of the Arts Students League of New York. Whenever possible, she attends classes at the Art Students League of New York.
