Contact us.Samuel Kizza is a contemporary abstract artist and sculptor from Kampala, Uganda. His work explores the beauty of form, emotion, and texture, blending African heritage with modern expression. Through his paintings and sculptures, Kizza captures the rhythm of everyday life, spirituality, and the deep connection between humanity and nature.
Working primarily with materials such as wood, metal, and mixed media, his pieces evoke balance, serenity, and introspection. Each artwork is a dialogue between color, shape, and movement—an invitation for viewers to interpret their own emotions and stories within his creations.
Kizza’s art reflects both his Ugandan roots and his evolving creative journey as a self-taught artist. His mission is to inspire a sense of peace and self-awareness through abstraction, transforming raw materials into symbols of unity and beauty.
His works have been showcased in very many exhibitions and art fairs across Uganda and Africa.
Samuel is represented online by Saatchi Art and other platforms. His works have also been published as fine art prints.
Artist Statement:
I live and work in Kampala. With so much love for colors, I artfully apply oils and acrylics on canvas to create art in numerous themes such as wildlife, people and still life.
I am so much inspired by the travels I take to different destinations such as game parks, historical cities and Ancient African societies.
Painting is a remedy which I feel I should take every single day.
