Matteo Germano was born in Turin (Italy) on december the 23rd 1987. He early showed great interest in the art world and particularly for drawing with pencils and makers.
In 2001 he enrolled at the first art school in Turin where he learned the basics of drawing and different artistic techniques such as charcoal, chalks and watercolors.
Matteo graduated in 2006, and in 2008 he decided to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, choosing the painting course of Professor Gianfranco Rizzi.
Here he approaches to oil painting and tries to improve his technical and artistic skills and starting to study the great masters of the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
In 2011 ending the three-years course of painting with the highest score and he began the two-year specialist course painting under the guide of professor Giuseppe Leonardi.
In 2013 he graduated in painting with a score of 110 L; in 2014 he met the hyper-realistic painter Francesco Capello that contributes to his artistic growth especially in the technical field. After a period of personal artistic research, he began his artistic career as a realistic painter; his works are mainly dedicated to the theme of nature (Wildlife Art, Botanical Art) and the portrait.
He is also as Art teacher in the italian public Middle/High school.
