MacDougal Street, Greenwich Village Painting

A most hip street in Greenwich Village where I used to hang out many years ago. That cafe with the awning was "The Figaro", a fantastic coffee shop where we listened to near-Eastern music and ate delicious hummus. Later it was unfortunately changed to a Blimpie. When I met my husband, we would spend our entire weekends here - after watching a foreign movie in the Village. He was French and so were all his friends so I was the foreigner. So I have a special feeling for this part of New York. Even though I Iive in Nashville, TN now, I still paint almost exclusively NYC This one is done on gallery-wrapped canvas. It will be wired for your hanging convenience.
