Magic tree Painting

Greetings to you! My name is Alena Denisova, I am an artist from Moscow. My love for creativity was instilled from an early age, I was born in a family of musicians, but from the age of 3 I preferred fine art. At the age of 13, I realized that my purpose was to be an artist. But for me it was difficult to choose the direction, because the world of painting is very diverse, and I wanted to find my own style, something that really will be to my liking. And the answer was unexpected. I decided to become an icon painter. It was a clear desire and conscious decision, although then, at the age of 15, I was very afraid of it, because responsibility, and whether it was worth going there, is a very specific environment. But at the age of 16 I entered college precisely on the direction of Old Russian painting and it was a delight. This is really the technique that I'm interested in. Plus a worldview. I really wanted (and now I want) my art to be spiritual, not just a beautiful picture. I have always sought deep meaning and the opportunity to come into contact with the divine. Therefore, the icon became for me the first guide to the world of spiritual art. But the world of icon painting is very small and limited by religion and tenacity. And I see widely, for me the spiritual is not limited to one religion and should not be locked in the framework. Therefore, I continued to search for myself and my style. I delved into Eastern philosophy, where to this day I draw wisdom and inspiration. I like to combine different styles and motives. I was also lucky enough to work at the Samskara exhibitions of modern art, where Android Jones was presented and the Mystic Universe exhibition. All this also influenced me and introduced me to digital art, into the sphere of which I gradually plunge. BUT working with live material is VERY important to me. I enjoy the whole process of painting. Especially the work with gold, textures, thin layers, living wood, all this is magical. Because I am glad to share with you my vision of this beautiful world through my art! I am always glad to communicate and new acquaintances!
