Taught by Vincent Wilson ( Penryn & Newlyn school of artists) my work has self developed since A level.
I love to paint people. There's no such thing as an ordinary person, everyone has something extraordinary about them... something that makes them stand out from the next person.
Always in oil, I love the silky fluidity of the paint. I also love detail, the little quirks that turn a portrait into a study, pattern, tattoos, piercings, lines.
I enjoy the unconventional, people that grab my attention, unusual composition, sometimes with plain background, sometimes with a pattern that I choose. I paint everyday folk that I stumble across, and celebrities that I admire.
