Manifestation Painting

From my journal: "This painting is a reflection of a dream that I had. in this dream, I am surrounded by nature, in a wooded area. I am sitting on the ground with my eyes closed and I can feel the earth below me. I'm listening to the sounds around me, I'm feeling the calm breeze upon my skin, and I can smell the scent of dirt. There is so much going on around me. It's chaotic, yet calm. My eyes are still closed and I am visualizing the life I want to manifest for myself. I am taking slow, deep breaths and feel as if my manifestation has already happened. I am living in the end. I open my eyes and take in the scenery. I see colors, so many colors. They're beautiful and they make me feel comfortable. The trees, the earth, the many plants and animals; it's as if they all knew me. I feel a familiar feeling while surrounded by it all; like I've been in this place before. This reassures me that all will be okay and everything is working out." Many layers of acrylic paint, dried paint and modeling paste was used to help create thick textures. Paint was applied with a trowel, paint brushes and palette knives.
