Rio's work is about the non-restrictive expression, often using hands and heads to express the feelings of humanity. Rio is a strong woman’s rights activist and passionate about equality and all human rights. She has had her work exhibited all around the globe and many or her works are found in intentional collections. Rio spent her early years growing up in the middle east then came to the UK to study art at GT Yarmouth college of Art & design. She later went on to study in Paris where she won the Gillon prize for design and content. Her works convey passion, humour & often are blended with subtle satire. She mainly works is 2D using paint, crayons, textures and colour. She also produces sculpture in a verity of mediums.
