I am a Canadian painter working out of my Calgary studio. I work predominantly in oil and acrylic. My subject matter ranges from social concerns to a celebration of visual beauty that surrounds us, and I also take on custom portrait commissions. I choose the subjects I do because I need to think about them. I think through image, allegory and narrative; line, form, color, brushstrokes on canvas.
