Market place Painting

Little villages in Northwest Spain conserve the enchant of tradition. It's people go to shopping every week or two as a meeting time, slowly talking each to other, chating about life. No mobile or internet nor credit car is needed. all seems to be naturaI on human size. Every person has a name, a fmily, one place to live. t's a tiny slow Times Square! Sometimes we need to watch the past in these speedic days and remember where we come from. In every place in the world there is a market place, that's the natural human behaviour. Let´s go to that tiny market sometimes. Let's make sustainable the economy of little villages. My grands lived most of time in villages. Almost all has changed. I have family and friends there and I go frequently: fresh air and contact with nature and ... reality. Don't lose it, don't forget it! This art work was painted from memories. I didn't take photos or previous sketchs. The process was long and some characters have some relationship with real type of persons and attitudes but are not individually identificables.
