France
Emy-Rose is a French abstract artist whose work is collected internationally. Born in 1988, she lives and works in Lyon, France. Her practice is rooted in intuitive painting, where movement, sensation, and memory guide the composition rather than predefined forms. She approaches painting as a sensory language, translating impressions, inner landscapes, and emotional states into color, gesture, and layered transparencies. Working primarily with mixed media, she develops her paintings through spontaneous marks, textures, and fluid forms, allowing each piece to evolve organically. Her works are not representations of physical places, but emotional and sensory landscapes, fragments of memory and time translated into color and movement. The Visual Poems series reflects this approach: each painting is conceived as a timeless visual space, inviting contemplation and personal interpretation. Emy-Rose has cultivated her artistic voice through years of exploration and experimentation with various mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal, before embracing abstraction as her primary language. Painting has been an essential part of her life since childhood, shaping a practice that balances instinct and reflection, spontaneity and structure. Her work explores the dialogue between aesthetic sensitivity and psychological depth, translating invisible experiences — memory, transformation, silence into color, form, and gesture. Her compositions invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect inwardly. Influenced by artists such as Helen Frankenthaler and Joan Mitchell, she draws inspiration from the expressive power of color and gesture. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Monaco, where her emotionally driven abstraction received notable recognition. Today, she continues to explore the space where emotion, memory, and intuition guide the creative process, creating paintings that function as visual poems open spaces for perception, memory, and inner travel. //www,emyoz,com
