Contact us.Bianca Paraschiv (b. 1998) is a Romanian contemporary painter and visual artist whose practice explores the intersections of philosophy, psychology, architecture, and human anatomy. Her work combines painting and graphic elements to create expressive compositions that examine perception, introspection, identity, and the complexity of the human experience.
Bianca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Painting (2020) and a Master’s degree in "Strategies of Plastic Representation in Painting "(2022) from the National University of Arts in Bucharest. She is a member of the Romanian Union of Fine Artists (UAP Romania) since 2020.
Her artistic formation began early through three years of piano studies and six years of ballet, experiences that developed her sensitivity to rhythm, movement, proportion, and precision. These foundations continue to inform her visual language, particularly in the balance between structure and fluidity within her compositions.
Since the beginning of her professional career, Bianca has participated in approximately 80 group exhibitions in Romania and internationally, including art exhibitions, salons, biennials, art fairs, and international competitions, and has presented her work in four solo exhibitions. Her practice has received 25 national and international awards, with distinctions from Romania, Italy, Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Belgium.
Among the significant milestones of her career is her selection to represent Romania at Expo 2025 Osaka, as part of the Romanian Pavilion. In 2025, she was also selected to join the Romanian Pavilion team at the London Design Biennale, presented at Somerset House in London, where her participation placed her work within an international context of contemporary art and design. Earlier in her career, in 2020, she participated in **Expo 2020 Dubai** with one of her works.
In 2026, Bianca received the Grand Prize in the Arts category at the LSRS Gala, organized by the League of Romanian Students Abroad, recognizing her artistic achievements and contribution to the cultural field. She was previously selected as a jury member for the LSRS Gala 2024, further reflecting her involvement in Romania’s academic and cultural landscape.
Her artistic practice encompasses acrylic and oil painting as well as charcoal, liner, pastel, and mixed media.
