Reclining nude of Miriam of Guerrero. When I first built my studio in Mexico I advertized for models and Miriam came with her sister. I painted many portraits of her, it was always hot as she came during her lunch time from 2-4 p.m. This painting was accepted and shown in the Quinta Bienal de Monterrey, a biannual international competition and exposition and is published in their book of the show. I have taken it off the stretcher as termites got into the wood and into the edges of the canvas but not into the image, simply on the outside edges of the canvas and therefore it will be shipped tolled up as it is not on the stretcher.
