Mirror of the Sun Painting

I was inspired by the gift of light reflecting from a pool near the park connector on my daily run since Covid-19 started. This pandemic had made me realize the importance of connection with people and treasure the relationships I had. Mirror of the Sun is an inclusive painting. The limited palette chosen allows people with a common form of colour deficiency (protanopia) to experience the painting as it is. Through the artwork, I hope that viewers will show empathy for others and make world more beautiful. With less material pursuits and more kindness, solidarity is just a person away. Birds fly because they own nothing, so can we when we love.
