In the past, in Korea, everyone made a wish to the full moon on New Year's Day. This is because they wished for a good harvest and peace in the village and believed to prevent all diseases and bad luck. This peaceful image of various colors is a picture that gives strength and comfort This series with a bluebird appearing in it tells us a story : “On a full moon night, the buds sprouted and flew in the blue bird”  The blue bird symbolizes joy, hope and faith; the color blue in itself is cheerful and bright.  The clear blue autumn sky and vast sea indicate wishful hope, and as Korean term for youngness include the word ‘blue’, it is the color of youth.  In western culture, the blue bird is widely known as a bird that calls for happiness, and in Korea, the blue bird appeared in novels or in lyrics to symbolize joy and hope.   - ‘to sprout’ in Korean is not merely about producing new leaves or buds :  1) To unclog a blockage and to allow to flow.  2) To break away from frustration or anxiety.  3) To awaken oneself from uneducated status
