Moon Chariot Painting

The idea of this painting came to me when I was travelling in the region of our beautiful mountain lake issyk-kul, at Saimaly Tash national park with open space museum of ancient petrogliphs on the 2000 years old rocks. The ancient images on huge stones reflecting lifestyle, hopes and beliefs of ancient people so deeply touched me with their precise graphics, character, movements and sacred meaning so I decided they should have been immortalized and mirrored thru contemporary approach to undesrtand and memorize. The chariot as a symbol of transition, movement, metamorphosis from generation to generation, from one epoch to another, from fairytales to spaceships have inspired me deeply. Today is impossible without yesterday, and we need to remember our ancient ancestors and sources to move forward.
