This painting based on raga. The goal of a rāga and its artist is to create rasa (essence, feeling, atmosphere time ) with music, as classical Indian dance does with performance arts. In the Indian tradition, classical dances , painting are performed with music set to various rāgas. The symbolic role of classical music through rāga has been both aesthetic indulgence and the spiritual purifying of one's mind .i am trying to put same in this painting, Raga associated pure and simple rāgas to early morning, mixed and more complex rāgas to late morning, skillful rāgas to noon, love-themed and passionate rāgas to evening, and universal rāgas to night .

In essence, my artistic journey is a vibrant fusion of heritage, innovation, and a deep commitment to social causes, reflected in every stroke of my brush and melody of my compositions. Explore the world, where art meets passion, and creativity knows no bounds. In the world of art, where colors tell stories and canvases hold the soul's echoes, I'm Pradnya Shah, a professional artist exploring the maze of human emotions. My art is a journey through the dance of shadow and light, where every stroke is a poem, and each color forms a chapter in life's novel. The canvas transforms into a potent stage for the heart's silent musings. Artistic Heritage: • Born into an artistic and Gandhi wadi family with a rich cultural lineage. • Father: Dr. M.B. Shah - Renowned figure in Hindi literature, writer, orator, journalist, and recipient of three Presidents' awards. (Got it from-Shree, Gyani zeal Singh, Shree, Shakardayal Sharma and Shree Abdul kalam) • Mother: Shreemati Rajashree Shah (Usha Kirtane) - Talented light music and Marathi old movie playback singer turned music composer. Evolution of Style: • Started with formal realism, utilizing acrylic and oil paints. • Gradually evolved into abstract paintings weaving surreal imagery with musical compositional elements. • Keen eye for detail and a penchant for experimentation, adeptly using mixed media to enhance visual and textural dimensions.
