Ms. Cutie Painting

Ms. Cutie There are many adorable creatures in the world and some are appreciated more than others, especially if they are cute like little adorable Ms. Cutie, which (or should we say ‘who’?) is going for a lovely walk. Many pet lovers would most probably agree! She has most elements to be so, being small, has lovely hair in her case, desired features and strolling along as if she was cat walking like a model. I have to say, some are naturals. Oh well! The original painting was done on a quality Hahnemuhle Leonardo 600g/m cold pressed watercolour 100% cotton rag which its entirety measures 36cm X 48cm, but one has to keep in mind that at least half a centimetre margin right around has to be subtracted allowed for framing. However, for proportion and dimension rules it would ideally have 34.5cm X 46cm sides. Nevertheless, if preferred, the original painting could also be sized at 35cm X 47cm considering the border to mount it. It is a mixed media painting, with chosen renown brands of material, taking care of using colour fast paints and medium. The process was done by starting with a drawing and methodically building up the layers as appropriate, creating it with intention.
