About The Artwork

It is the work of a series of "Tasting." In every city there is a monument, a fountain and a mountain. They create a unique mood of the city. I compared Lviv with Tbilisi and Yerevan. Each of them has its own unique flavor and taste. 30 years ago, I traveled to the Caucasus and wrote several small watercolor sketches. My memories of the Caucasus, the Crimea, my dreams about them inspired me to create large canvases, now with oil paints. Jvari Monastery (a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century near Mtskheta) located on Mount. I was sitting on the road and painted not only monastery, but his entourage - ordinary rural landscape with a pig, chicken and destroyed the old truck.

For me the main thing in painting - is the creation of the atmosphere, optimistic, easy mood with anticipation of happiness, mystery. For me is very important color, meditation composition and dynamic smear. I paint something that I have personal feelings, memories. I try to find beauty and mystery in the ordinary. I am writing a series devoted to one topic, and try to solve the different themes in different ways stylistically. Borned on August 8 1964 year in Lviv 1977 - 1980 Studied in Lviv artistic school.
