My Heroine: Malala Yousafzai Painting

Malala is the second in my Heroic Women Series, women who inspire me and others around the world. Malala is the youngest person to receive The Nobel Prize. She survived an attack by the Taliban but when on to inspire people worldwide with her courage in the face of trauma. She fights for the education of women, no matter where they live. You can see her strength in her face. When I am discouraged I remind myself to sit up straight and think of her. Presenting her with clear values of black, white and gray underscores her strength.
