' I explore and discover, through the purely physical act of painting, how the deeper inner world is connected to the physical world in which we live ' I have gradually evolved from Impressionism toward abstraction. This shift involved dismantling form in order to pursue a visualization driven strongly by musical qualities through color and line. Over time, my work has moved toward emphasizing expressive elements that more powerfully convey human will. I am deeply interested in the harmony or dissonance that arises between the principles of the universe and the human inner self. Within this kind of ambiguity, I find meaning in discovering my own rhythm and seeking a sense of order.
