Born in Portugal, Lisbon, in 1990, he has always been connected to the Art world. The name Edis One came in 2007 as a simple tag. Since then the artist has used the pseudonym to spread his own brand and his work.
Multidisciplinary and passionate about the arts, Edis One fits easily to any type of art and work. Has focused his activity in graffiti, graphic design, web design, industrial design, painting and photography. He did his degree in Design in IADE-Institute of Visual Arts, Design and Marketing in three years (2009/2010 to 2011/2012). Completing the same in Vienna, doing the Erasmus Program in Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (2012).
He is currently developing the Original Extinction Art Project, which aims to raise awareness of one of the greatest extinctions on our planet. In 2020 he became one of the ambassadors of ANP / WWF Portugal.
In the same year, in addition to several works, he ended the year with an exhibition at the Arte Periférica Gallery linked to the Original Extinction Art Project, named Once Upon a Time (sold out).
In 2023 he made an exhibition at El Corte Inglês, with the name of WHO CARES. Here his Extinction project grew, ceasing only to represent animals and their habitats, but also endangered crops.
