ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Follow the Water" was the science theme of NASA's Mars Exploration Program. Discoveries by the 2001 Mars Odyssey, Mars Exploration Rovers, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), and Mars Phoenix lander have been instrumental in answering key questions about water's abundance and distribution on Mars. The Mars Odyssey, Mars Express, MRO, and Mars Science Lander Curiosity rover are still sending back data from Mars, and discoveries continue to be made. This artwork is very sturdy and a bit heavy work due to the materials used. This painting could be placed in a child's room without too much worry about damage.
