"NEW YORK IN LOVE" Painting

1953, I was as a boy in beautiful Freiburg i. Br. born. My youth I spent up to my 18th year at 10 different locations in Europe . My training as a printer I've finished in the graphic arts industry . Until 2011, I worked for various internationally oriented sales company in the graphics industry in a leading position . 2008 Inclusion of my artistic activities to mitigate as self-therapy to the increasingly strong through the Transidentity psychological pressure and dismantle. Since 2011 I have worked as a business consultant and freelance artist . Since 2016 I live , with all the resulting challenges felt by my gender as a woman . I am different from other boys, was already aware at the age of 6 years. Since that time, the Transidentity connected draws with many ups and downs like a thread through my life. From social and family constraints, a life in the perceived gender could not be realized. The result was alcoholic excesses and the lamentable failure of several relationships. 2012, I had suffered a total mental breakdown with a resultant of several months of hospitalization. Only in 2016, the internal psychological pressure was finally greater than the fear of the consequences, and I started my second "real" life as a woman. The pop art has me captivated since my youth. Beginning of my works were reproductions of Roy Lichtenstein images. After a relatively short time I found my own style and evolved over the years consistently. The incurred in the past two years paintings and sculptures, deal exclusively with the issue of "transgender" and are a reflection of my inner life and the related wishes and dreams of transgender people for companionship, love and security.
