Self-taught artist, Thomas Rimoux was born in 1975, in Paris, France. He lives and works in Montpellier. During the nineties (90’s) he is involved and immerses himself in the world of graffiti. Always looking for new form of Art, he chooses to learn sculpture for 2 years (independante candidate) at the « Ateliers des Beaux-Arts de Paris ». This takes him to a job as set designer at the film industry in 2001. He, then, decides to expand his artistic skills to the digital world and start a career as a graphic designer. "His painting are so particular, almost spectacular. Thomas Rimoux wants us to re-think the world we live in, in particular our relationship to the digital world : Human being versus Nature. The artist invites us to take step backfrom reality and pause until finally we can dream."
