Alfredo follows a three-step process to create his artworks. Setting the Stage: To begin, he chooses a color palette for the background. In the case of "NeoGenesis", he went with the primary colors: red, yellow and blue. These colors spoke to him, signaling their desire to be a part of the artistic journey. Step One: Creating Patterns Once the background colors are selected, Alfredo adds liquid mediums to give them texture. Then, he connects with the canvas emotionally and splatters the liquid colors, leaving intricate patterns on the canvas. Step Two: Bringing it Together The next crucial step involves using spatulas to spread and blend the splattered colors across the canvas. This is where Alfredo infuses movement into the piece, as the colors smoothly mix and create new shades. In "NeoGenesis", the yellow tones resides in the center while blue and red are off to the right and left, respectively. Here the yellow tones signal deep strength due to its round and fierce movement while the blue and red tones can't compete with yellow and they burst out to the sides in an explosive manner. Step Three: Adding Impact With the background set, Alfredo carefully considers where to add splashes of complementary colors. In the case of "NeoGenesis", he chooses to splash tones of each primary color in the section of the composition where that color resides. These splashes are strategically placed to create a transformative image, adding depth and substance to the artwork. The Final Result: The culmination of this process yields a work of art that invites viewers to reflect on the layering of colors, creating a personal and transformative experience. In "NeoGenesis", the artwork transports viewers to an imaginary, fairy tale universe where organic life flourishes and shines. The composition gives an imagery of the initial spark to new life which will evolve into a high frequency species in a universe far removed from our realm.
