Cheryl is a Northern Ireland based artist. Time spent in China and in more recent years, Nepal, inspires her artwork; she enjoys the colour, chaos and bustle of life in Asia. She is also interested in capturing street scenes in Northern Ireland and has an interest in still life. She sees painting as a form of drawing and is particularly interested in mark making. She prefers to use mix media, mainly water based materials and enjoys experimenting with various effects that can be created by putting different materials together.
