Nervous System Painting

Acrylic paint on Matte Black paper. This piece is part of a larger series entitled ‘CoVisuals’ I refer to my work as- energy paintings. I believe there is a distinct kinesthetic shift in energy with every fleeting moment. I put paint to paper and express this unique, chemical response. An energy painting is both a piece of art as well as a snapshot of a moment in time. This piece was started on the 4th of July 2020. A time of social, and economic unrest in our Country. An abstract depiction of my nervous system whilst fireworks burst across the city. I hope my art welcomes a better understanding of your own energy in any given moment. I wish to inspire personal realization, visceral emotion, and meaningful communication between those that view it. Thank you so much for sharing your energy with me today.
