About The Artwork
I've been experimenting with poured paints for fluid effects. On this one I decided to scrape the lower third off before resuming the pour, which left interesting color behind. I then scraped it and added high flow acrylics (similar to ink) for added color. It was a fun experiment. I have lightly distressed the sides of the cradle board to go with the lower half of this painting. If you don't like the distressed look, I can fix that for you. Painting is finished in a gloss varnish.
