My practice is centered on color and emotional resonance, working within an expressive visual language that moves between expressionism, subtle naïve influences, and occasional ethnically informed chromatic references. I approach painting intuitively rather than conceptually, allowing each work to emerge through process, gesture, and accumulation rather than pre-defined narrative structures.
Working with oil, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media, I build layered surfaces where texture and material depth become as important as image itself. These works often begin with simple subjects—flowers, landscapes, portraits, and animals—but evolve into complex painterly fields that shift between representation and abstraction.
I am interested in reducing visual information to its essential emotional impact, creating works that feel immediate yet remain open over time. The layered surfaces invite prolonged looking, where new details and interpretations gradually appear rather than reveal themselves at once.
Alongside their emotional and intuitive foundation, my works are also deeply connected to material presence and interior space. They are designed to function not only as images, but as atmospheric objects—paintings that interact with light, environment, and the viewer’s changing perception.
I have exhibited in Ukraine and internationally, including multiple editions of Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt and Cologne, where my works have also been collected. I am currently based between Ukraine and Poland and am an active member of the Ludwiki-1 artistic collective in Warsaw.
