ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Contemporary abstract “Not a square”. An acrylic painting on cotton canvas stretched on a wooden frame and fixed in an American crate. Dimensions 45x38cm the canvas, with the slightly larger frame. This painting is part of a series where blue and red are protagonists. Here the square is not perfect, pencil lines, protruding borders, a transparency of the red are wanted so that we question this shape. The artist wants to highlight this complementary duality that we need. The feminine and masculine, two forces that are at once opposed, interconnected and complementary. The canvas is signed on the front. Signed, dated and titled on the back.

Bodasca is a self-taught artist based in Paris/Neuilly-sur-Seine.
