I have known. I have always known. You may have experienced the same thing yourself. People telling you being an artist is a nice hobby, but it is not a "real job". (Whatever that means. *chuckle*) However, you know. You have to set pencil, ink, brush... CRAYON (ha ha) or anything you can get your hands on to paper or canvas. You have push the boundaries of creativity and make it mean something. That is all I have wanted to do. No matter how many people try to convince you otherwise or walls you hit to make it a reality, it pulls you back in. You squeal over color combinations, line weights and textures. You revel from conceptualization to execute and wonder at its journey. How did it start? How did it get there? This is what I do. Everyday. I wonder. I revel. I look and fabricate a "journey". I get to be a part of, and I play with the tools in front of me.
From commission to cinema ... I am exploring. I am pushing. Each project.
Every time. Because, I have to. I know being purposefully creative is a beautifully exciting way to spend my life. I do not think that is likely to change.
