Yas-Sam Bakhtiyari: A Journey Through Art and Education As an artist and educator with over 25 years of experience, I am driven by the belief that teaching is the best way to learn. My work is a continuous exploration of classical and contemporary techniques, reflecting a deep passion for visual art in all its forms. The Artistic Journey My journey began with a formal education in art and graphic design, culminating in a Master of Arts degree. This foundation laid the groundwork for a career that spans painting, illustration, graphic design, and teaching. I have had the privilege of instructing students of all ages at institutions like Azad University and Alzahra University, as well as through my own studio, Yasomo Atelier. My art is a dialogue between tradition and innovation. I specialize in a wide range of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and pastel. My expertise extends to figure drawing, classical painting, and sculpture, allowing me to create a diverse body of work that is both technically skilled and emotionally resonant. Creative Focus Through Yasomo Atelier, I have also engaged in a variety of creative projects, from character and puppet design to children's book illustrations. This experience has honed my ability to turn complex ideas into compelling visual narratives. My graphic design background, including proficiency in Photoshop, Freehand, and InDesign, further enriches my artistic process, allowing me to seamlessly blend traditional art forms with digital techniques. My work has been recognized with several awards, including an Award for Top Designer at the First Self-Promotional Poster Exhibition, as well as multiple Awards for Teaching Excellence.
