About The Artwork
This picture Fjouer belongs to the series: Schoenberg variations. It was inspired by the baltic sea. In the variations on a theme, one of my most important artistic approaches comes into play: the experiment. In these sea pictures, the form is exactly fixed. The variations arise from the different treatment of the color. Here I am experimenting. In Nuegen, the blue paint was run over a watercolored sky. Later, details were painted in with a fine brush. The picture is sold with a white shadow gap frame.
