This work has interesting story! looking it closer, you can find the work has unique crack patterns. This crack was created naturally due to condition of different resin that was used. However when it was cracking, the layer lifted the surface painted with acrylic and pencil marks which created interesting illusion. To prevent the further cracking, the top layer is finished with high quality non-toxic and non-yellowing resin which perfectly traps the cracks forever in time.

Recently moved to Castlemaine, Yuna Chun is currently exploring how one's living experience evolves in response to their environment. Her work, painted with acrylic on wood panels, depicts the forms of urban structures combined with vibrant colors, creating hard-edge geometric patterns. Since moving to regional Australia from Metropolitan Korea, Chun has discovered her curiosity in Australian flora and fauna, inspiring her to experiment with a new artistic style. Born in Seoul, Yuna Chun earned her BFA from RMIT University in 2011. Following nine years in Australia, she initiated her artistic journey in Seoul and has been working between Korea and Australia.
