This is a layered resin piece mixed with acrylic paint, mica powder, and diamond dust. Different lighting situations can create very different looks and moods. Although I live thousands of miles from any beach, I am fascinated by the depth and power of the ocean. Its mystery, rhythm and power are reminiscent of the ebb and flow of emotions that surge within us.
