ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Depicts a stream leading to an old mill in the countryside, by a forest. Men loading a cart and women washing fabric at the stream. In the distance there's a village. I bought a frame at an auction and wanted to paint a tranquil scene to fit. The frame is an older frame that I bought at an auction. I do not know the frame date. The subject matter was chosen because I like images with water, people and activity. It is painted in acrylic on masonite and includes the frame. It's wired and ready to hang. It will be bubble wrapped and shipped in a cardboard flat box. The size listed is the full size including the frame.
