Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Water, Fluid Medium, Ink on Canvas.

Olokun (Yoruba: Olóòkun) is an orisha spirit in the Yoruba religion. Olokun is believed to be the parent of Aje, the orisha of great wealth and of the bottom of the ocean. Olokun is revered as the ruler of all bodies of water and for the authority over other water deities.

Made with water from the Atlantic Ocean, US, Fluid Acrylic Paint, Air (air gun) and Fire (torch). My work is inspired by the repeating patterns in nature and our connection to the all-encompassing force of life.

This piece is a one of a kind original abstract expression of my inner world and cannot be duplicated.

Each piece is finished with dripped edges and signed on the back. 1.5” Thick Gallery style canvas wired and ready to hang.

A portion of my profit from this artwork will be donated to the Ocean Conservancy.
