Born in 1965 in Cologne, Hans-Joachim C.Paul now lives and works in Berlin. He studied Sociology at Freie Universität Berlin and Communication Science bases of Speech and Musik at Technische Universität Berlin. In 1990 Hans-Joachim decided to spend his life mainly as a painter. He began to paint especially abstract pieces with wax and oil. Around 1995 he moved to the three-dimension by "painting sculptures of wood with his chainsaw, to involve his entire body in his creative work. Between 1994-2007 Hans-Joachim lived in a log cabin nearby a forest in Poland in order to observe nature in solitude and develop his inner inspiration. He then focused on a series of sculptures named "Y-HEADS". His artworks have been collected by several private collectors in Spain, Poland, France, Austria, Italy, Canada, USA and Germany. In october 2014 he will have an exhibition in London and in spring of 2015 in Las Vegas. In late 2014 his Y-HEADS and paintings can be looked in International Contemporary Masters IX.
