About The Artwork

Adolescence is a very difficult time. Any little thing can hurt deeply, one careless word can drive you crazy, pimples and thoughts of an unclear and vague future bother you ... Hormones play, parents do not understand anything in life ... and only somewhere very deep in consciousness, timidly and carefully, like a little quivering bird, a sensible thought appears that this is only the beginning of a long and sometimes difficult path, which is called LIFE. ▪︎ oil painting on canvas ▪︎ size 50x70 cm ≈ 27,5x19.7", depth 3cm ≈ 1,5”. ▪︎ covered with a protective varnish to prevent it from dust and sunlight

I paint because for me it's a kind of meditation in which I lose track of time, designing and creating a whole new world that no one has ever seen before. Portrait is the most congenial form of art to me. It is incredibly interesting to observe people and visualize their actions and behavior, transforming them into images that can be depicted on canvas. Portraits of women are my special love. Women are ambiguous, mysterious, magic lurks in them. It's a bottomless world, like the rabbit hole Alice fell into. My paintings are not about female beauty, they are about her inner world, which is inhabited not only by angels but also by demons Sometimes I paint landscapes and flowers It turns out easily. Probably, painting them, I just relax :-).
