The freedom of a brushstroke, born of control. I paint in a distinctive brush-impasto technique. Within a single stroke, several shades stay clear and luminous. Dense relief shifts into transparent pulls, so the surface catches and returns light. The work looks bold and swift, yet it is built with precision. A few confident strokes give not only color but volume, a form that rises from the canvas. I return to flowers because they speak the language of human moments. They are with us in celebration and in grief, in love and in farewell. Each bloom is singular. Colors within a stroke catch and release light differently in every petal. Forms change endlessly, and no gesture repeats itself. Through them I search for presence that can be felt, for energy becoming form.
