Hoho Kuo,female, who learned painting from her father, the artist Mr. Guo Yu, since childhood. She graduated from the Stage Design Department of the Central Academy of Drama and later from the Directing Department of the Beijing Film Academy.Now based in Shanghai. Active in the visual arts industry as an independent director, painter, and other multiple roles. She directed the advertising film "Lively City," which won the China International Advertising Film Golden Lion Award.In 2024,she devoted herself fully to the field of artistic painting,continuously garnering attention from awards and setting sales records in both public and private domains.For Hoho Kuo,compared to the oil painting medium that she has been familiar with since childhood,she prefers the versatility and ease of acrylic materials, which allow for both thick application and glazing.She excels in figurative painting, characterized by a style rich in color, expressive and abstract, with powerful brushstrokes and profound emotional depth.Her learning and project experience in film and theater have given her a more thorough insight into the exploration and handling of space, light and shadow, and characters' inner worlds.She is a rapidly emerging artist with immense potential.
