I'm Elahe Yazdani, also known as El'Art, and I'm the artist who's really passionate about turning ordinary things into something extraordinary. I want to take you on a journey to a realm just like those amazing Miyazaki anime or Tim Burton movies. My adventure as an illustrator began with a strong desire to capture the excitement and liveliness of our wildest imaginations in our everyday lives. I polished my artistic skills and techniques through serious studies at art school and university, where I specialized in Illustration. Throughout my educational path, which ended with a Master's degree, I discovered and nurtured my unique strengths as an illustrator. Whether it's creating captivating characters or skillfully playing with colors, finding the right techniques for each project, I've developed a style that sets my illustrations apart from the rest. Before settling down with my husband in the vibrant city of Hamburg, my artistic roots were deeply connected to my homeland, Iran, and its rich cultural heritage. The breathtaking colors found in Persian faience tiles and the enchanting tales of mythical creatures from ancient stories have always been a huge inspiration for my art. However, being an artist under the Islamic regime presented its own set of challenges. The restrictions on artistic expression and the bothersome need for government approvals seriously limited my style. Unfortunately, many of my illustrations and artworks were censored by authorities who didn't understand them or thought they were inappropriate. But now, in my post-immigration career, I feel truly blessed. I can unleash my imagination, create, and share my art without any fear or external pressures. My illustrations act as magical portals to my personal wonderland, where you can experience the same sense of awe and excitement that I do in my dreams. They entice you with vibrant colors, especially orange, which holds a special place in my heart. Orange symbolizes the cheerful and playful spirit of the little "Eli" inside me, and I really want to share that same spirit with my amazing audience.
