This work is part of a body of work that explores love and relationships through the inter-relationship between abstract form and space. This series of artworks can be easily paired with others for a bold, original look with high vibrancy colors. These works provide good energy and adds visual interest to any room. My artwork explores the inter-relationship between form and space, thought and expression. Bold and intriguing abstract shapes interplay with each other on the canvas, attracting each other, repelling each other, always intertwined in some kind of dance. This dance is the abstract expression of life’s entanglements, such as love, the alchemy of science, or the mysteries of space and time. Iconic shapes drift across the canvas like a cosmic song – the spaces in between pulsate with a pure single-toned bright color, reflecting a sort of celebration of life in all its myriad permutations. Each work of art is accompanied with its own unique poem – written by the artist in response to the artwork. The poem is one interpretation of the work, thus extending the song and dance beyond the canvas. However, the interpretation of shapes and forms on the canvas and nuances in the poetry tells stories only the viewer knows as uniquely his or her own.
