Nuria (b. 1990) in Murcia (Spain). Self-taught contemporary abstract artist for over 15 years, she lives and works in Gijón (Asturias) in her own art studio, where she receives visits from clients by appointment. She began painting in search of self-expression. The artist herself mainly uses a mixed technique. Her different series define her way of being and expressing. With a palette and a method that is constantly evolving. Oliva enjoys experimenting and challenging new forms of expression through technique, each piece reflects a personal subjective and emotional moment due to emotions or connection in her past or present memories, expressing it in an abstract way. Color and the upward stroke loaded with pigment are her way of recognizing her paintings. Mainly the base of her paintings is on natural cotton canvas, designed to obtain a first visual connection, thus giving the viewer a feeling of purity. Her hands play an important role as they are the main tool with which she paints.
