I am a conceptual artist aiming to unify the creative philosophies of three amazing artists, Lucio Fontana, Agostino Bonalumi, and Zilia Sanchez by merging painting (2D) and sculpture (3D) using the two dimensional surface of the canvas as the most logical building block in achieving such a goal. The theoretical 2.5 dimension—the bridge between two and three dimensions—can be achieved (intellectually and visually) through layers, optical illusion, real objects, and relevant topmost color contrast. Generally, my art, which celebrates science, creativity, and excellence, also deals with temporary issues (aren’t they all!) that should help enrich and deepen our thoughts in understanding our reality, making Rene Descartes’ first principle [Cogito, ergo sum] ring as the right solution! My creations also relates to how being alive now on earth, together, will lead us to viable solutions to attend all critical contemporary issues.
